How to collect mushrooms

To which art do they belong to? Do mushrooms draw your attention when you walk through the forest? Are you blessed with the special look?

Are you able to read the surrounding? Do you know under which trees and in which moss can you find the freshest and most aromatic mushrooms “Schwammerlen” as we call them. If you can, well congratulation! A lot of voluptuous evenings lay ahead for you when you are exploring our forests. Here you can read all the information you need to collect mushrooms without getting in conflict with our law.

Please take care: 

∙           Conditions to collect mushrooms

a)Out of the municipality: You have to afford a payment of 8,00€, at the benefit of the municipality where you want to collect. ( a single payment even for more even days possible ) the best way to pay with postal transfer and identity card.

b)Within the municipality you only need your identity card. When you don´t keep to the rule you can get a fee of 51,00€ + 30,00€ for each kilo of mushrooms as well as confiscation of the mushrooms.

∙      Where can you collect mushrooms

Only in the municipality where you paid your contribution but only there where collecting is allowed and not forbidden by shields. When there is not paid attention to the shields, there is to pay a fee like in 1a.

            When can mushrooms be collected?

Only on even days between 7am and 7 pm

∙        How many mushrooms can be collected?

Out of the municipality you live in at the most 1 kg per person (over 14 years old) Within the municipality you live in at the most 2 kg. per person. When not following these rules, fees like in paragraph 1a.

∙              How must mushrooms been handled?

The mushrooms must be cleaned roughly at the place where they were found. They must be transported in stiff, well - ventilated receptacles.

∙           Attention!

Prohibition shields, humus soil as well as not collected mushrooms may not be destroyed. Fee of 75,00€ till 428,00€ if the payment of this fee is refuted the fee will be doubled.
