Aldino counts to one of the oldest settlements on the mountain range Monte Regalo. Here the language boundaries between German and Italian run parallel to each other.

The municipality exists of the villages Holen and Radein it lays upon a wavy surface between Ora and Monte San Pietro. Mountain meadows, fields and alpine pastures share the landscape, the background is made by “the mountain twins” Black and White Horn.
